My husband and I just had our second meeting with our adoption counselor.

We have been left with an odd feeling (can explain more indepth privately) and are wondering if this is normal.... are we exerpinceing something routine in the adoption process.

I am sorry to be so vague, but am concerned with confidentiality....? I can explain off line if anyone would like to repsond.

I am wondering if anyone has any information/ experiences to share with us (postive and negative) about our agency.

I just read you post and was wondering what kind of "odd feeling" you were having and what lead to it? We are going thru this process to:having in home part of home study done thurs. Our worker said it is almost done and we can identify a child or they will look for us one. Did your worker say something inappropriate? People here on the forum are so good at lending support to each other. Is there a way you could talk to your workers boss to sort things out? Beth(roomformore)

The comments felt inappropriate to me.

We do have lots of support.

I have many supportive freinds and co-workers. But I do not know anyone who has gone throught the process so its unclear to me what to expect.

I am sorry to be so vague but our situation is easily identifiable and I am afraid that someone reading this could view this and ...well maybe I am being paranoid.

I have thought about talking to her boss, but fear retribution or being seen as uncooperative or resistent.

We don't want to to ANYTHING to jeapordize our chances.

Please email me privately and I will discuss your "odd feeling" with you. We have gone through a failed adioption and a successful adoption that was delayed due to the agency so I can understand having "odd feelings".
