Baby due tomorrow!!
We made the 20+ hour airline flight to be in the state our birthmother is in. We wanted to be here and not miss the birth. We have family not to far away so we hope to get to visit too.
We spoke to our birthmother today, she's doing well, tired of being big and prego. She had a doctors appt today and nothing is happening aarrggghhhhhhhhhh..... She is due tomorrow, we hope our baby comes soon. But we've waited this long so we'll just sit tight for now. I just hoped to be a mommy by the time I turn 40, which is Monday!!!!!! Please keep us in your prayers, God has been awesome to us. We are blessed.

Congratulations. Are you there now? Hopefully it all happens soon. We too are waiting the arrival of our little one who was expected around the 15th and we are still waiting. We are not travelling until baby is born though. We are coming from Canada going to MD. Keep us all posted please!!! WE are all anxious to hear the news!

noticed you had posted on another thread today. Just wondering whats up. Still inwaiting mode? Good luck to you. Hopefully, you will meet your new child soon. What a feeling to hold them in your armms for the first time. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. Anyway, keep us posted. Kathy

Hi
yes, we are still waiting..... We are enjoying the sites here in town, eating out and going to the movies and just waiting.... We talk to our birthmother everyday. We haven't meet face to face yet. She's twisted her ankle really bad and is trying to stay off of it and get better. Our liitle boy is just not ready to come out yet. We pray everyday for his arrival. I'll keep you all posted. Being part of this forum has helped me so very much in so many ways, on our adoption journey, thank you all for helping me be more understanding, compassionate and a better person overall. Pray tomorrow is the day our son comes to us!!!

Venessia...........Thank you!!!! That made me smile........
We didn't know that a typhoon hit close to home till dh tried to call his office and couldn't figure out why no one was answering the phone. He finally got a hold of the on-call person who told us about the typhoon. Feels weird being out of touch. We are still waiting...no baby yet. But today is a new day and I've got my fingers and toes crossed. Hope everyone enjoys the day.

Wow, I cannot believe your baby is not born yet! I thought for sure I would find all the good news by now. Or, perhaps you are busy with your new bundle of joy to get online. I'm hoping that's what it is.
