new baby daughter in the other one. Things went so great. "D" was terrific. She ended up needing a c-section. They induced her at 100a and she was born at 1028am. She weighed 7'6 and is 20inches long. She is just BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Everything with "D" went great. She will go to court on Monday and sign the relinguishment papers. She called me a little bit a go and told me she was home. She asked how the baby was doing and then said,"well I'll let you go to spend time with your daughter." She is so great. For all of you waiting believe me I know the wait is murder. I thought there were days I could just crawl in a hole and not come out until the wait was over. But trust me on this it is all so worth it when you see your baby for the first time. I love her so much from the first moment I layed eyes on her. I knew right then why God made me wait. Because this is MY duaghter. O yeah we named her Jaycee Faith. I will post a picture hopefully tomorrow. You all are great and have all been so wonderful. Thank you
Julie Yasta, she is nursing great. I have a full supply (too much actually) she latched on right away and doing great. I just wish she would eat more. |

Congratulations! It brings it all back each time someone else brings a baby home. With my eldest son, I was just in so much awe of him as a baby, this little complete human being, of course 7 years ago I wasn't on any forums, or even the internet at the time! Now with the twins, I'm trying to figure out how to hold them both and type and check the forum!
Enjoy! it goes soooooo fast... can't beleive my twins will be 1 in 3 months! Glad to hear it all went well for you! Will send an extra prayer of thanks up for you tonight! Best Bumpkin |

Welcome to the world Jaycee!!!! I am so happy for you and your entire family. Just think it was only about 3 months ago that we were emailing each other and wishing for this day - now it's here!!!!
Welcome to the world of no sleep. Take time to enjoy all of it and keep in touch with "D" - she may need the support. Debbie |

Thank you all so much. I have talked to "D" a couple of times today. She called me to ask if I wanted hospital pics and what to do about her full breasts. I think she was really calling to ask about the baby. She sounds great but I think it is harder for her then she thought it would be. I pray every night for her peace.

I am soooo excited for you. You are soooo blessed!! I'm hoping to adopt a newborn one day and would love to know how you were able to produce an overabundance of breast milk. I know you are busy so just whenever you have time I would like to know what you did and how long it took you to get that much. Be blessed!!

If you talk to her again, tell her to buy a cabbage and put it in the fridge. Take cabbage leaves, break the veins and stick the cold leaves in her bra. Wear them until they wilt and use them liberally right now. Tell her to use cold compesses, no hot water, don't stimulate but don't bind either. Wear a good supportive bra at all times. Also, she can increase her sage, oregano and parsley as they are drying herbs. The bulk of the problem will settle down within 2 weeks. But, she might still have milk for quite a while afterward, just to not intentionally encourage it but don't panic if she does see milk later.
