Our Journey FINALLY has a VERY happy ending!
After a year of waiting with no leads on any potential birthparents, I was extremely depressed thinking that our dream of adding to our family was never going to happen. Well it did. Four months ago we met a very mature teenager who was facing a very difficult decision. Although it has only been 4 months, it seems like a lifetime. Thankfully, this story has a happy ending.

Today we arrived home with our beautiful new son. Davis Andrew was welcomed into this world surrounded by two families who love him very much - the birthparents and us. It has been a very emotionally trying week but now that it's over, we can relax and enjoy our miracle.

Thanks for all of your support and for those still waiting - it really does happen

That is so wonderful to hear. We have been agonizing about the wait after our match. It is so nice to hear that you brought home a beautiful baby boy. It gives me hope that all this stress and worry will be for nothing -- and that our daughter may really come to us in August. Congratulations!

CONGRATULATIONS!! Enjoy every minute it goes so fast! Our little guy will be 6 mos. this month!! Weren't we just at the hospital?

I was thinking about you just today.. I am so happy that you have your son home with you. Love the name.. Enjoy the time because they grow up too fast. My daughter will be 2 in Sept. and my little man will be 7 months old in 2 weeks.. Just like Amomforlife, it seems like yesterday that we were getting our son...

Everyone in the waiting game. It WILL happen.. Just don't give up on your dreams...

Congrats! I bet you are just overjoyed with happiness.....thank you for sharing your joy with all of us........It too gives me hope that their will be a happy ending to this roller coaster ride of emotions I have begun just 6 months ago.
