anyonw know pennsylvania law-possible sit
Hi
I was wondering if anyone knows the pennsylvania law regarding the termination of parental rights. I know NJ is 72 hours but from what I remember, I thought pennsylvania was 6 months. Any help appreciated. We got a call about a possible emergency placement. Thanks KINNJ

Birthparents have to wait 72 hours from birth to sign the consent. There is then a 30 day waiting period in which the consent can be revoked. The new 30 day law just went into effect as of 6/01. The old law was a 6 month waiting period.
