I'm Searching
My name is Deana and I am working to help my daughter. My husband and I adopted her when she was 7 years old in Oklahoma City in 1996. Her mother's name is Brenda Iravani. My daughter is now a teenager and wants desparately to make contact with her birth mother. I believe this will help her with closure and understanding some very serious problems she is now having emotionally. Does anyone have any advise on how to persue this?

I would guess that this was not an agency adoption, or you would have gone to your agency by now? If not, have you tried to get contact info from the internet.....and....my only other advice.....would be to ask this same question on the 'adoptees' forum of this site.
