Just wondering if any of the Missouri aparents are going to attend the Adoption Fairs that are going to be held in Springfield, Joplin and Columbia?

It feels weird to do this. This would be our first time to attend a fair. I for one, knowing how difficult it is to get in contact with children waiting to be adopted (especially since Missouri does not like to post them on a website), thinks it's great! If any of you have attended one before, do you have any suggestions?

I don't mean to be negative but we just attended one today in my state, and it was the most uncomfortable experience I have had. I almost had the feeling it was like we were going into a kennel to get a stray dog. You may do just fine with it but my husband and I did not have a nice time. I felt like the children knew they were being paraded around. People were talking to their social workers about them right in front of them. I was very excites as you are when I found out about it and we were pumped this morning, but we left with a bad taste in our mouth.
