Before I tell you what else is on this week, I want to alert you to our program next week — it is simply amazing! You might want to alert friends and family too, because next week's 20/20 is a program you don't want them to miss.

It's an hour that follows a 16-year-old, pregnant girl as she interviews five couples to make the excruciating decision as to which of them will adopt her baby. She wants to play a role in the life of the child, while still giving it up for adoption. You will watch her select parents for her son, and then wrestle with a final decision: with the baby born and in her arms, can she bear to part with it?

It's a story that touched me deeply, and I think you will find it powerful. I guarantee you, though, that you will not be able to predict the outcome. Please be sure to watch.

If you could, i ask that you watch this episode. I am curious to hear peoples questions, ie. Barbara Walters to a woman in such situation. I ask that you share your thoughts on this segment if you want.

wow, that's great to hear about. after deciding to adopt and knowing what our misconception were and since finding out what eveyone else's with an opinion's misconceptions are I'm glad to see 20/20 is going to do a piece on it. I usually like Barbara Walter approach to her subjects and feel maybe she can do justice to open adoption.

I waitress Friday's (one of those putting money away for adoption things) so I'll have to tell tivo to record it for me.
