Finally coming out to introduce myself...
Hel all...I have been around this board for some time now, and feel it is appropriate for me to introduce myself. After suffering a stillbirth and miscarriage, we decided it was time to adopt. We have recently been matched. We've talked on the phone with bmom and actually met her the other night. Words cannot describe how I feel about her. She is absolutely amazing. I don't want to get too excited about things, as I know there's always the chance of it not working out. But, on the same token, I can't help but feel lots of joy in my heart. If all goes well, our little angel should be home with us in June. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all...

Thanks for your support ladies! We don't know if it's a boy or girl. The baby didn't want to cooperate during the ultrasound! But that's OK. We didn't want to find out the sex of the baby when I was pregnant, so all of our things are pretty gender nonspecific. And, we pretty much have everything bought already. My son was stillborn at 36 weeks, so we had everything we needed in anticipation of his arrival. But now he's our angel--watching us from above. That thought really gives me peace.

Our son maybe daughter is due in June also. The wait is driving us crazy. Congratulations. We are adopting from Arkansas and are in NC. Where are you adopting from? When is the due date? Congratulations
