adoption support
Does anyone have any words of wisdom regarding adoption support? We are in the process of filling out the paper work. Our daughter is 16 months old.So far it looks like she is developmentally on track,but given the (bio Moms)past who knows? We live in Washington state. Thanks

I have found this forum to be a great support. I would encourage you to look for an adoption support group in your area. How did you adopt your daughter, meaning through an agency, lawyer, international, state? Do you have any friends that have adopted? Since the adoption of our 2 youngest, we have become friends with families we've met through our agency. Kind of forming our own support group, I guess. Hope this helps a bit.
