Waiting Poll:

I'd like to get information regarding a waiting poll. Anyone can post, whether you are in the beginning stages, or have been matched, or have your baby home already.

1) When did you start the adoption process:

2) How long from start to homestudy approved?

3) How long since homestudy have you been waiting?

4) have you had matches that did not complete?

5) If you have a child, how long from start to finish when your baby/child came home.

6) what age are you looking to adopt?

7) if you had a long wait (2 years ore more) any specific reason why?

Thanks!!

1. Started the process November 2002

2. Took about 2 months for the entire homestudy and lifebook to be completed.

3. Finished the homestudy January 2003 - matched March 2004

4. Only one match and we are waiting for the baby to be born in July.
