she is finally home
My sisters little girl arrived on the plane today from Edmonton. We are all the way over in New Brunswick. What an emotional roller coaster this has been, and she is finally here, hard to believe it is real. She is 10 months old, 18lbs and gorgeous. We are absolutely in love with her even though we have only known her for 7 1/2 hrs so far. Wow what a wonderful thing adoption is, creating even larger families. My sister and her husband as well as the entire family feel so blessed. This little one's new great grampie is absolutely smitten with her as she is with him. She has a good bit of adjusting to do, but she is happy and health and we are all so grateful to be able to have a hand in this little one's life.
