Adoption Book Reccomendations??
We are looking into adopting a child 4 or under with Autism or similar delays. We will be adopting publicly through childrens services.
I was just wondering if anyone had any books on adoption that they would reccomend?? Thanks

My favorite books are:
A is for Adopted All of Jamie Lee Curtis' books (she adopted also) A mother for Chocko (not sure of spelling) I would recommend that you visit this website for information on great books: http://shop.adoption.com/cgi-bin/store2/index.html

Those are childrens books....not books "about" adoption.
I just realized you may have been asking for something related to adopting children with special needs. I would still look at the website. They have great resources.

Actually both types will be of use to me. I will want to pick out some childrens ones to read to my daughter once we are approved. Thanks, I'll check out the site.

I'm a stay-at-home-mom, I home school, and our daughter has autism. Lots in commom just in your signature line. The book I'm going to recommend has nothing to do with adoption but thought it might interest you anyway.
