Lisa- I am so excited, after many many years....they are finally organizing a RESOLVE group in my area. Have you found the group helpful? In what ways? What things does your local chapter do?

Reslve does monthly educational meetings, they have lendin library. There are therapists who run groups. They do annual fertility and adoption conferences. Sam's birthmom and I are speaking at the next adoption conference next month. They have phone buddies who are volunteers with a particular dx who give moral support. Then there are the "cookies and Conversation" groups. These are peer support groups designed around particular infertility issues. My dh and I have one that is adoption related, there are ones for general IF, donor issues, IVF ect. Sort of like these bbs only in person.

As a member you get access to the national organization that lobbies for bigger issues (insurance coverage, adoption tax credits ect) The thing that was most helpful to me when I was still ttc was being able to call the national ofc and talk to a medical professional for advice at different stages of our treatment. In short a great organizatiion.
