seeking a litigation attorney

My husband and I are seeking a litigation attorney who can assist us in a case against our former attorney who caused us a failed domestic adoption. We live in Georgia. I would appreciate any advice of where to seek such an attorney.

Sorry to hear about attorney problems. But, I can certainly relate. Legal malpractice is touchy. IF you file a bar complaint an attorney can not touch a case until that is settled in some states. That can take years as it is a long process. You can go to lawyer.com and see who in your area does take such cases or Martindale Hubbell.........both have about every lawyer listed. Check your state Bar Association site for an attorney referral too, most have them these days. If you have problems finding the sites let me know and I will, I did have them bookmarked but just recoverying from a nasty computer crash and have no bookmarks. Again, good luck and sorry you had a bad experience, I know how hard it is to realize a child has been lost due to attorney with less than good ethics. Teresa

I am very sorry to hear of your failed adoption. Would it be alright to ask how your attorney caused it?

We had trouble with a GA attorney also, that almost cost us our son...I'll bet we have the same attorney in common. You may PM me if you wish to discuss it.
