Delurking to share good news
I've only posted about a dozen times but I'm a faithful lurker. I've gained so much knowledge and vicarious support from the women on this thread. Thanks. I was gently encouraged by a regular poster to share my news.

Our son was born Jan 23 and we brought him home on Jan 24. It's still unreal to me. We've only been on the waiting list since Dec 16 and we received our match Jan 9. The birthmother is wonderful and so is her family. I'm so happy my cheeks hurt. I love reading other's posts when their journey ends in success so I guess it's only fair I share my story.

Of course you should share this wonderful news!! CONGRATULATIONS! Isn't it just grand having a new little one. So, what did you name your son, how much did he weigh, length, etc...? And do we get to see a picture??

Congrats to you with your new baby. My son is 5 weeks old and it's nice having a new little one here!!! My kids are 15 months apart, so they keep me VERY busy!!!

Of course you should share!!! Congratulations! I am so happy for you and your family. Can you share more of the dirty details...weight, height, looks, etc. Maybe even a picture?!

CONGRATULATIONS! Nice to hear great news. It DOES seem SO unreal when it happens so quickly........exactly overnight! LOL!

(We brought our baby girl home mid month. She's a little older....but ever so sweet!....posted in the 'adopting again section')
