Hello I am new to all of this. We been tried infertiltiy many times just to ride on the roller coaster ride. We moved to looking into adoptions. We started a several years ago and nothing ever came through. We then put it on the back burner and built a house. Now we have begun looking into it again and got a call that one is due in June and then today we got word it is twins. It is moving so fast its hard to believe it is real. Has any one had an adoption move as fast as 6 months? Has anyone use Focus on Children?

We just picked up our son last week and from the time we signed with our facilitator to finding our son was six months.

Our first adoption took 11 months..But our last adoption was fast..We signed up with a wonderful Agency!!! We signed up with them on 9/16/03, got matched 1 month 3 days later and were parents to a gorgeous little boy 2 months later..So that one only took 3 months!!

Good luck to you!!! And WOW, twins!!! Mine are 15 months apart and keep me very busy...You will be alot busier than me!!

Hi there,
Good luck to you. With our daughter, we were signed up in September, matched in Jan. and she was born Valentines day 2 years ago (almost). So 4-5 months total for her. We are now waiting again. We have been waiting since Mid November and are hoping it will happen SOON.

My husband and I receieved our newborn son on January 10th (he was born on January 8th).

We entered the placement pool for our agency in June 2003...
