I'm Still Pinching Myself...
Hi all,
Dh, dd, and I were having a quiet evening at home last Saturday doing things like laundry and eating Peanut Butter Passion Icecream(extremely good stuff btw) when the phone rang and it was our facilitator. A baby boy had been born that Friday and if we were interested we would have to leave right away to go meet the birthmother at the hospital and be there when she was discharged the next day. The good thing was the hospital was only two hours away from where we live. We heard all there was to know about the situation, prayed about it then called our facilitator back to say...YES!!  Our little guy had to stay in the NICU for a week because he had an infection and had to be on antibotics for seven days. We spent every minute we could with him and had a wonderful bonding time and we finally got to bring him home yesterday! Everything worked out so well this time and we praise the Lord for that! Thank you to all of you who were so faithful to pray for us! HUGS! Brat, I tried to PM you but you're box is full again.  He is just beautiful, amazing, and so tiny! 6 Lbs. 13oz. 19 in. Judy. How wonderful! I am so happy for you and your family.
He is gorgeous, and I am glad he is doing so well and home now. Some of us who have been there (now you) know that it may happen when you LEAST expect it. Thanks for sharing the photo.
