Our baby girl is home!!

I just wanted to share the great news that our baby girl came home yesterday! Kristina was born 01/06/04 @ 1:57PM - 6lbs. 6.8oz....

Some might recall my last post - we just met the bmom and bdad on Sunday and she wasn't due till Jan 25th!! She called us Tues AM saying she was going to the hospital cause her contractions were 8 minutes apart, my husband and I were blessed to make it in time for the delivery...everything went as well as could be expected. Last night was our first night and she was an angel.

Did the hospital let you have all the fun things, like foot prints, etc.? How is Kristina doing with eating? Has the whole family been over yet?

Were you even ready for this, since you thought you had 2 more weeks? Like did you have a crib ready, and clothes? LOL I forget, did you know it was a girl? If not, was it hard for you and Hh to come up with a name?

What fantastic news!!! Boy, this has been a busy week on this board. First me, then you and Waiting for #1. We have truly been blessed. Enjoy that precious baby girl! Can't wait to see pictures.

Thanks for all the well wishes. We did not get all the fun stuff from the hospital, but we will be doing our own - so that is OK. Kristina is getting better with eating, which is great! We were not as prepared as I would of liked to have been - we did have the the nursery pretty complete, but we didn't have any clothes, blurp cloths, or anything (luckily our neighbors are giving us a lot of stuff till we have a shower - which is scheduled for next week)! Family is coming to visit over the next few weeks - it is going to be a busy time (everyone is out of town - so it will be rare if people come at the same time). We did know it was going to be a girl - so we had a few names picked out...when we told the bmom our top name she loved it - I was happy about that!

Congrats to you and your hubby. We have had our son for 3 weeks and just love it..You will love every minute with your daughter!!
