Jenna -Kate or Brooklynne????

Hi everyone!I do hope you all have had a great Christmas holiday.I keep thinking I will probably have a 9month old along with my other 2 children by next Christmas. Our baby[think it is a girl}is due March 29th and we cannot wait!!!!We have finally narrowed her name down to 2 names. We have gone back and forth with names and have spent much time with our decision. We have gone back to our original ideas of either Jenna Katelynne {call her Jenna-Kate} or Brooklynne Faith { call her Brooklynne}We love both of these names equally and want all of you to help us decide. If this little girl turns out to bea boy ....he will be named Jaxon Aaron.Thank you all for taking time to read this thread and your choices would be appreciated.HAve a Happy New YEar!!!!!!!!!

Just a though

I really prefer Jenna. I considered Jenna when I was naming my daughter. I love the name Brooke, but with Lynn it sounds like Brooklyn, NY. Perhaps because I was born there or due to my northeast location.

Best of Luck

I love the name Brooklynn. Both my husband and I have cousins named Brooke that live near us, so we can not use it.
I say go for it.
Also, I love the name Jaxon!!

Good choices, and have fun with your new addition!

Re: Jenna -Kate or Brooklynne????

Both names are nice. Brooklynne reminds me of NY also. I would go with Jenna-Kate.

Happy New Years to you too!!

I love Brooklynne Faith!! As a teacher, I see a lot of Jenna's. My daughter has 3 Jenna's in her class, and our new kindergarten class has 4. We live in PA, so maybe Jenna isn't overused in your area.

Just my 2 cents.

I live in NY...and so I love the name Brooklynn...I've seen that name used quite frequently in the last couple of years. And my daughter's best buddy from school is named Jenna...what a lovely name.....I also love the middle name Faith...and Jaxon is a great name for a boy!!!! Hugs, Brenda

Even though I have a Brooke in my family, I have to go with Jenna!
How exciting for you.

Thank you all for your opinions.Keep them coming!!!!It is nice to see if you get more yes's for one name over the other. So far half of everyone seems to prefer Jenna-Kate over Brooklynne. My husband and I honestly like these names equally and family is split so hopefully we can decide before March. My children ages 5 and 8 prefer Brooklynne.Keep sending your opinions we need it!!!!!Thanks again.

I think my vote would have to be for Jenna unless you went with Brook. I don't care much for Brookelyn myself but thats just me. Congrats to you and your family!

I really like them both. I went to school with a girl named
Jennifer-Kay and she wound up with the nickname J.K from second grade to graduation. Something to think about.
