Christmas gift giving for Adoptive Parents

Hi everyone,

I am a bmom to a baby girl and tomorrow is going to be her first christmas with her family. The aparents are wonderful people and are a huge part of my life. I am going to visit them soon. I was wondering what any of the adoptive parents would love for christmas? I bought a gift already for the baby but I just am still not sure what to get the aparents. After looking around I still haven't found anything that I really want to get them. I wanted something that would show my appreciation of just how great they have been to me and my other daughter.

Thanks ahead of time!

I'm an adoptive mom to 2 kids. I would love to have updated photos of my kids birthparents and family..That is just something I would love to receive every year and it doesn't cost alot...

I hope you continue to have a great friendship with your daughter's parents..

Happy Holidays...You sound like a great women!!

Hugs,

Cathy..

Hi!
Cathy gave a good suggestion. I would add anything that comes from your heart, something made or written by you.

Merry Christmas!

OK, I'm going to go out on a limb here and put adoption protocal aside.
As far as a gift goes, I would think in terms of something that anyone might like. How about a gift certificate? Maybe for movie rentals, Borders, a bath shop, etc.
I know it's not real personal, but once someone becomes a parent, they stop thinking in terms of what they like and focus everything on their child.
On the other hand, if you want to give something really personal, I think a hand made item would be very special. As Judy said, anything that comes from the heart.
