hi everyone,

well, its christmas eve for me, time for me to leave work...hey, its only 2pm....yea...!!!!! got to go get that last shopping in. Im a guy, go figure..

I just want to wish everyone a safe and peaceful holiday.

I know this time brings up alot for people, as it does for me, but i just want to let some of you know, even though i have never met any of you, you have all been a great support to me over this last year, and i have learned so much since i have joined this forum.

I have gotten tearyeyed at the sad stories, I have felt the warm fuzzies at the happy stories, and, believe it or not, i loved a good debate now and then too.........lol.

anyway, we who have fallen into this so called adoption world, have got to experience a different part of life then most. We have witnessed so much sadness from some of these poor innocent children, and yet we have witnessed so much joy when kids have found a forever family.

Plus, on the other side, we have witnessed the joy of birth moms meeting their children for the first time, and we have witnessed the sadness from achildren meeting their bmoms for the first time and it didnt go over so well.

I have read alot, and all your stories have touched me in more ways then you would ever know. I have not commented on alot but i have read them.

so, the new year is approaching, so thank you for being out there, where ever you, and how your journey has lead you to this forum.

again, I didnt want to leave and not wish you all to have a safe and peaceful holiday.

I pray that if you don't have your child yet that God will give you the peace and strength to wait for His perfect timing..NEVER give up your dreams to become a parent!!!

Happy Holidays to all of you. I've only belonged to this forum since last Spring, but it's made an incredible impact on my life. I'm glad I've gotten to know all you wonderful people touched by adoption... it's like joining a secret society made up of people from all walks of life, who all have this one huge thing in common.
I hope you all have a peaceful holiday; I hope in the next year, we all find lots of happiness and fulfillment.
