I am an adoptee and mother of three and have suffered from a form of depression for years. I have been moderating a depression forum on the Adoptee site for several months now and would like to extend an invitation to any of you, on the other side - if you will, of the adoption triad, to utilise this support forum. It is not the exclusive domain of adoptees. Clinical depression can hit anyone and many families face the disruptive and often devastating effects of the illness without having any idea what it all really means.

Should anyone you know be in need of your support and you perhaps would like to ask any questions, or express an opinion, or begin a discussion, please feel welcome to join us.

This thread is not about who has more rights to what. This is exclusively a support forum and again, I would like to stress, everyone is welcome.

Please do not be shy. I'm here to help in any way I can.
