BF can also mean breastfeeding (in addition to boyfriend and birth father or biological father).
Don't forget FP for Foster Parent (and the associated initials for foster mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, etc) And GM or GF can mean grandmother and grandfather. Add extra Gs for the "greats" ( ie: GGF = greatgrandfather) --Good for those threads about reunions! |

birthmom is also sometimes used for breast milk, but I've seen boards where people understandably prefer MM (for mother's milk).
EBM is exclusive breast milk. EPer is exclusive pumper (for a mother whose baby can't latch to her breast successfully, so the mother is pumping all of her breast milk). FF is formula fed or formula feeding. VBAC is vaginal birth after cesarean. A/A can mean atheist/agnostic. LC (lemonchutney ;-) |

I'm so glad to see a better abbreviation for this. There are a few sites who promote the use of PAP.....to me that is an unpleasant test. If you consult a dictionary, it's also a watery, tasteless food often fed to infants or invalids or something of little value. |

Good idea Aspen, some I was unsure of but some people are new and it all has to look like a foreign language.
