I was given a copy of a book called, A Childs Journey Through Placement. Which has been HUGELY appreciated at our house. It describes the importance of attachment and how to know if you are on the right track to attaching to your child. It was given to us through our agency and is for use by caseworkers. It is a text book that contains actual stories of children in placement. Wish I had this before we explored adoption!
