I am the ecstatic mother of two- both adopted in the past 22 months. Our son is 22 months and our daughter is 9 months. I am looking for recommendations for books that explain adoption to toddlers/preschoolers. Thank you for your help!

congratulations!!!
i'm an akid and there was this book that i loved when i was a kid. it was hilarious...it had this baby coming out of a gumball machine. it's called "Why Was I Adopted?"

(that's in paperback...but i know they used to make in in hardcover...i still have mine back home=)
i really loved it as a kid and i even remember sharing it with my second grade teacher. it takes a really humorous approach to the situation.

Is another good book that my son enjoys. It has cute illustrations of babies through out the book. I found ours Barnes and Noble. They seem to have the largest section on Adoption around us.
