Our 2 year journey of being legally a family is supposed to come to an end this next week! I had posted earlier on in the case on this site (couple of years back):

My heart is full of joy and hope that it's not too good to be true. The ceremony should be held either Wed. or Fri.

For those who don't know me, my dh and I took in a foster baby a couple years ago with hopes to adopt (a big no-no) as the state thought the case may go to adoption. Well bfamily stepped up and it had been a rollercoaster of a case.

Thanks for the well wishes. We feel sooo relieved now! Even though we've had our youngest for 2 years, I feel euphoric like a new mom. Like a weight has been lifted.

We headed to Canada to celebrate and had a wonderful time as a family.
