Depression

I have suffered from depression for most of my adult life. My diagnosis is Severe Major Depressive disorder. Generalized anxiety disorder, and Post tramatic stress. I have been recently hospitalized after a nervous breakdown and am just looking for some support I guess. I am having a lot of trouble coping with grief after the death of our daughter this winter (still birth). Has anyone else dealt with these issues?

Janders,
I have been in similar shoes as you are in I have suffered with depression and PTSD for years and years. I was hospitalized a total of three months for it. I was on medication after medication until the "right" ones were found. I know how you must be feeling. I am now completely medicine free but it was a long road getting here. Please know its going to be ok( I know how much I hated hearing this but it is true). Feel free to pm me anytime!

HANG ON!
Aimee

I am sorry but I have not been in your shoes, and can't help that way. I am not sure if this will help you any either, but I wanted to tell you that you, your family, and your daughter (in heaven) are all in my prayers, hang in there and God bless you.

Aimee~ Thank you for sharing your experiences, it is nice to hear that someone who has "been there" has found healing. I hope one day to also be free of medication. I pm'ed you.

May~ Thank you for your prayers. I thank you so much. Knowing someone out there who doesnt even know me cares enough to say a prayer for my husband and I brought tears and hope. Thank you for the prayers for our daughter, In our grief we sometimes forget how important prayer is.
