Foster child searching for info on foster place
Hello.
This place is no longer around and am hoping to find someone who maybe worked there or knows of a new name the agency changed too? I was placed there in 1969, for how long I don't know. That's why I would love to contact someone who might have my records. The agency name was Church Mission of Help in Baltimore, Maryland. And 2nd... and I honestly don't know if I'm going out of bounds on this part and if I am, I'm sorry. I'm digging up so much information, but it's all in bits and pieces and the people I can talk too to give me more information, won't do it and when I do get info, it's all lies. My grandmother (grandfather was around as well but...) was a foster parent for many years in the 1950s. I don't know the agency etc, but I would love to talk to anyone who was with her and learn more about my family. I will only say on an open forum that this was in Harford County, Maryland, initials G.F. Thank you to anyone that may be able to help. |

I was pretty sure I'd come across that Church Mission of Hope name before, and I had! They are now called the Episcopal Community Services of Maryland, and they're no longer an adoption agency. I sent you a PM with details.
Hope that helps. |

Just wanted to say thank you again DianeS! I wasn't expecting a reply at all, or one this quick.
