We happened to be foster parents because this child was in the process of being kicked out by his father in January 2002 and we offered to take him in so he could finish his last 2 years of high school. So now we have this strapping 6 footer, 200-lb, linebacker living with us! What a sweet adventure to watch him over the past 6 months shed his shell of suspicion, discontent, sadness, and rebellion, and slowly mesh into our family routines. I would love to share with some of you all, about your experiences, as I feel pretty much on my own.

foster pal

Kelly,

My husband and I have been foster parents for three years. We have had 7 children in our home within that time. Ask any questions you want. If you choose to be foster parents be ready for a rollercoaster ride.
