Question kinda long. sorry
We have had our ten year old foster daughter for going on eight months. She has never been away more than a day at school, no overnights anywhere. I know it will do us both good if we get a break and was wondering if putting her in respite for a few days was okay. I know people use it and I have done it several times for other couples. Just need a little bit of insight, this is the first child we have but know we also have a 3 year old. I dont wont her to think because we got him we are sending her off. Also does DFACS in Georgia pay for summer camp she has been begging to go to one.

Could you send them both away for a few days that way you are really getting a break and the older one would not feel left out.

I really dont know. He is up for adoption and they are wanting him to get an attachment which i think he pretty much has done. I thought about asking one of my friends to do it. She is a foster parent and has one of my daughters friends that way it is more fun than being sent somewhere she dont know. Thanks for the feedback.
