CASA worker do you wait for them to contact you

We have had the littles for 2 mnths now and no word from the CASA worker. Littles are placed with us for adoption. However, legal risk. Bio mom has trial soon not sure for what trying to find answers case worker says its not for TPR? What else could it be for? I figured CASA should have info from us before the court date. Right? Sorry Rambling

I only saw the casa at my house the day my fs was placed for two years. After that she did not call, visit or anything. The only time I would see her was at court or at team meetings. In my experience I would expect absolutely nothing from the casa unless you get a good one.

The CASA I had on one case visited monthly. He knew far more about the child than the SW. Not, however, that his word was able to carry the day, but it was nice to have one who cared. He had done the same with the child before he was at my home. He probably did have too many children on his case load to be 100% effective with any of them.

You should be able to contact the CASA. They "should" be a volunteer who cares, and is committed to the well being of the child. You could contact the local CASA organization in your area to find out who the child's CASA is, if they have one. Might be an easy way to start. Or contact the SW or agency.
