I have to wait until Monday!
Cowboy's CW wants to meet with us Monday afternoon. She said she has updates, good updates, to speak with us about. A little bird told me that Cowboy's mom was going to sign off and that was Tuesday that I heard. Now, I am going to be on pins and needles all weekend! There is still the father issue. He said in the beginning of December that he wanted added to the case. So, she might address that issue also. He should have been able to fill out paperwork and get it sent in by now! It's been two months. Cowboy will be eight months in another week, and we have had him 7 mos. I can't wait till Monday to see what's up!

Goal: adoption by us!Past Placements: Our first foster placement: Tiny girl: 9/10-4/11 Still see her once a week. Screaming Mimi: came to us on 3/15/11 at one day old. Left 4/19/11 to join her adopted brother. Twin 3yo girls.  5/26-6/28/11. Adopted by a great family.Sisters: Spitfire, age 2, Helper, age 4: 1/12 to 4/12; went to another foster home so all three sisters could be together. Respite to other cuties.

UGH! I totally feel you!
Aman has a semi-annual review tomorrow morning, then his 3 month court hearing (but 6th month in care). From what it sounds like, decisions will be made on Monday during the review, but can't be "official" until the court date on Tuesday.... The waiting sucks. Its even worse for me, since CW is pushing hard for RU and GAL is pushing just as hard to stop RU and add things to bio mom's case plan. (that honestly should have been there from the beginning!). Hopefully in your case, it is good news. I will be waiting on pins and needles to hear an update from you. Luckily I have internet on my android phone

Fortunately this weekend flew by. Our four kids kept us busy, lol. One more day till we find out what the news is. Utbrie, I will wish for good things for your little one At least in my case I know that the CW wants him to stay with us, we just have the father issue floating around..

Update
Well, CW said mom is going to sign off. Mom's lawyer put it in writing in a letter to CW. Dad will be added to plan when he sends back paperwork, but CW doesn't think he has a chance to be able to parent. He's a felon, spent years in prison, abuses drugs, and didn't raise his own child. We have four months until we have current caretaker status, so any relatives that come forward on dad's behalf won't be able to do it in time most likely (they are in another state). Mom's relatives have responded in writing that they won't take placement of Cowboy, so that's another good thing for us. So, we are trucking along, fingers crossed. Thanks for thinking of us
