I must be crazy....

We just increased our license. We are now licensed for 5 kids, 0-8. Wowza! I haven't told anyone yet as I think people will think I am insane! We got a lot of reaction when we went to 3 kiddos!

I guess I don't ever want an empty house, and I worry that all my kiddos are going to leave at the same time..... So may as well fill up!

We recently accepted our fourth child and people think we are NUTS. lol I think we're going to up to five just in case there's a sibling that comes into care.

I come from a large family, and I enjoy a lot of kids. Loud busy house = happy (if a lil crazy) home. :-)

Welcome to crazy town! We are open for the max (5) as well. We aren't full, there's 1 place we haven't filled, but I'm ready for a call.

Good for you.

We're not licensed yet, but we said we would take a sibling group of 4. We would take more if they would let us & they need us to.

You aren't crazy if you can handle it. We have 5 (counting DD) and I would love to have a spot open for respite. For some reason they didn't fix our license that way when we moved, but after we adopt I am going to push for it. It is fun to have a extra kiddo for the weekend, and not have to worry about all the other stuff.

I'm sure you already know, but make sure you have a solid routine and rules, are consistent, and you will do just fine.

We have room for 5 + an infant but at this time I refuse to convert my office so its 3 + an infant that stays in our room. We currently have 1 spot left and I can't wait to fill it. I feel like OP. Don't know how long our sib set will be here and don't want an empty house. I will say this though...I will not deviate with my age range moving forward. Girls 4-7 only and more like 4-6 because I want our bio daughter to be the oldest and she's 7. Its been chaotic with a full house but I vaugely remember the calm. We are really hoping for a 6yr old to fill our last spot. DD is looking forward to having someone close in age to share a room with. Good luck and hope you get a call soon. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you if you can do the same for me...sending positive vibes your way!

We have 4 kids and a foster placement of a sib group of 5 and we are actually licensed for one more.

The day I brought our kids in for their intake physicals there was no school. I walked into the pediatrician's office with all 9 of the kids and woman in the waiting area asked me if I was crazy...I said if I wasn't before I probably am now

If you can handle 5, I say go for it!! When our extras are at their visits now my kids say the house is too quiet.
