totally OT, but I actually found time for a short date!!
so for about a year and a half ive been talking to a guy, and he's been BEGGING me to go out on a date with him... just a simple little lunch... or something...
well I finally gave in, and made a little bit of time and went out with him...and even had a good time. He's loves what I do with the kids... of course he has not and will not meet them (for a lonnnng time to come) he's very very understanding of that. Idk if anything will come of it but it sure was nice to get out and have some grown up time!!!   dating is not something I have done... at all since my divorce in 08....just not interested.. maybe it's time... idk..

December 3, healthy and beautiful and NOT in care.. yea preggers!! (disrupted 01/06/12) 12/11 2 year old boy lil guy switching to theraputic/enhansed liscensing

Good for you! I am single but don't date and know how easy it is to get wrapped up in the kids to the exclusion of our own needs (not saying this is your situation). Anyway, I'm glad you had a nice time whether or not it leads anywhere.

Congratulations on time with another grown-up. Friday my boys and I were invited to dinner at a friends. Their kids took over with mine (they have some older ones) and their mom, grandma and I got to sit and visit for a whole hour. I can't even remember the last time that happened.

Yeah! It does seem that this lifestyle leaves little room for anyone new-other than new kids, lol. So, enjoy yourself and have a great time

Goal: adoption by us!Past Placements: Our first foster placement: Tiny girl: 9/10-4/11 Still see her once a week. Screaming Mimi: came to us on 3/15/11 at one day old. Left 4/19/11 to join her adopted brother. Twin 3yo girls. 5/26-6/28/11. Adopted by a great family.Sisters: Spitfire, age 2, Helper, age 4: 1/12 to 4/12; went to another foster home so all three sisters could be together. Respite to other cuties.
