We're finally official!!!!

As of 10 am on Tuesday, January 31, we are officiallya forever family!!! Is it a bad sign that my (and my husband's) first inclination was to pack up the kiddo and drive far, far away??? Just because we could!!!
Hahahahaha!

Nope, that as my husband's first question when we were moved to the adoptions unit..."Does that mean we can plan a trip out of state now?"

Congratulations!

Congratulations!! I'm with you on the desire to leave on a whim, unannounced, maybe even out-of-state. Heck, maybe out of country. It will be so nice to just be a PARENT! Yay to y'all!

Congratulations! No, that's not a weird feeling at all. We did it! We went out of state that day, just becuase we could. (Granted "out state" is only an hour and a half for us, because we live near the border, but we did not need ANYONE'S permission!)

Congratulatons! And I know what you mean about traveling. I was thinking through my adoption vacation plans last month and I thought "oh, yeah, i need to get a travel voucher before I leave" and then I thought, "wait, I won't need a travel voucher again!!!"

I am 4 weeks away...
