Permanancy plan meeting
We had our meeting Yesterday a lot of things were discussed that really caused concern..
Bio dad was supposed to get on days before they would send little man home..He was offered a day time position at his current place of employment and he turned it down because it was less money. They offered him a reunification specialist, which means they would have sent little man home but a specialist would have been in the home for at least 20 hours a week..he turned it down...believe it or not he said that he would prefer to just have longer visits for now because he didnt think the baby would do good without me without any transition !!!!!!!! I was very impressed with DAD... When the meeting was over he took little man to hug him, baby squirmed trying to get back to me (he is 20 mos old) Bio dad made the comment "he is such a mommies boy" dad really impressed me this time on trying to do what is best for little man Thanks for reading..I just needed to share..there were some dissapointing things that dad said at the meeting but im not going to go there..I am just happy about the positives... |

I love when we have positive things to say about bios. My youngests bio mom ended up realizing that she just wanted to see and play with her son. She told me that she didn't think anyone could be mom like I was. It makes every negative thing in this journey worth it. She ended up stoped coming to see him and got terminated on by default. I wish that we were allowed to communicate our desires to each other, because I would have loved for her to be able to stay a part of his life.

Wow! That is Awesome! So happy that Bio Dad put the babies needs before his own. That's what unconditional love is all about. Thanks for sharing the positive information about Bio Dad!
