Unhappy Licensed being delayed - help!

OMG! I have 3 great bio children. When my daughter was 15 1/2 she and a friend did something very STUPID and she knows it! She ended up getting caught taking some makeup from a store. She did get arrested and she had to go to the police station and the cop talked to her, etc. He basically scared her so much and she really regrets this. They did report this though to juvenile reporting??? She really is a great kid and made a dumb mistake.

Now, she is 18 and her fingerprinting came back as flagged. So... my case worker just called and told me that my licensed now will be delayed and she will have to send in some forms??? She said that it should not be a problem to get my license, but I am worried this will now not let us get licensed??? I totally forgot about this incident. I am worried though.

Any advice or has this happened to anyone??

I think you are fine. They will just be looking for the history, any other problems, and explanation. It's just a delay. Don't worry!

I don't think it will prevent you from getting approved but may take a few references or something for your daughter. My husband had a dui over 10 years ago. He has since gotten married (to me of course), graduated college, and commissioned an officer in the USMC. They required a letter from him and a few additional references. I don't even know that it really held it up because we still had paperwork and stuff to do. They have to make exceptions everyday. It shouldn't be a big deal.
