I was just wandering what this means? Still ignorant
I was told yesterday that they are going to have a pre-trail. They said they have a pre-trail before termination. Does this mean that they are headed in that direction, or that they are going to ask the judge for termination? What? I am confused because last week it was reunification for sure by the holidays. Then something happend and now they are going to have a pre-trail. They don't tell me a lot and I had to pester to even get this tad bit of information. What do I have the right to know? Anything?

it means...it isn't over until it is OVER. if the kids are ru'd, it is most likely over. if the kids are tpr's it is most likely over. until that point, it is anyone's "game." things can turn on a dime one way or the other. if you were the defacto parent, i'm pretty sure you'd have the right to know almost everything since you would be a party to the case. have you thought about petitioning for that?

I have a meeting with an attorney on Tuesday next week. To file for defacto. Hope that gives me some insight. What a rollercoaster. I have learned through the ups and downs to take everything with a grain of salt. I just don't understand how everything got so flipped in a week. That is just the nature of the process, i guess.

haha a rollercoaster is right. I can't believe some of the things that have happened with the kids we have now.

Bmom keeps supriseing us, one week it's RU next week it's concurent home till tpr and adoption, next it is RU, next she is incognito. .....

we are just gonna live each day as if they are here forever least that way they get as much stability as possible while it lasts.
