Holiday Blues

I think I am going to have them.

Muscles might be going home to mom between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I talked to the his cw and things are looking favourable for mom. I see some ridges but I am not the judge who makes the decisions. His permenancy planning meeting is tomorrow and the hearing is next month before Thanksgiving.

I am already dreading the day I knew was going to happen.

I can't imagine how you must feel. Mixed up I bet. Glad BioMom got it together for her son's sake, but so sad that her will leave you.

Hugs!

I'm sorry for your soon to be loss :-( I cannot imagine my kiddos going home let alone around the holidays. At least you have a precious little one that will keep you busy. I know she can't replace muscles but at least you won't have an empty nest. I'll keep you and muscles in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there.

So sorry to hear about your loss. It is difficult to happen this time of year. Try to remind yourself during the holiday season how you have impacted his life and this families life forever. That is so important.

This has been a difficult week for you. Please know you remain in my thoughts and prayers. I still believe God has your "forever child/children" already picked out for you. However, you just haven't met them yet . . . but you will. Stay strong and please keep coming back for support.

Right there with you. So hard. I am so sorry for you. Ours came in January, and went home three weeks ago. My heart is so very sad. I have other children, so I am keeping busy, but need to take the time to mourn the loss of our sweet little daughter. We are all she knew, so I am worried about how she is doing, too. But I can't think about it or I can't breathe. It is hard to plan holiday things without including her in the plans.

I am so sorry for your sadness. Hang in there.

Oh, I am so sorry. I haven't had to say goodbye to a foster child... but when December comes along, I do find myself more aware of our loss. My mind and heart take me to how big our Eli would have been - what he would be getting into.

My only advice is: there is no plan B. What we feel is an end... a horrible loss.. may come as a surprise to us. But the One who has our plan already written is not shocked. And is there to catch us when we feel like we are falling.

I will pray for you and for your little one. If you need to yell at someone, PM me anytime.

Well, Nov 20th is the hearing. The cw said mom has done everything asked of her. If the Judge says yes, they will start transitioning him that same day with weekend vists for a week or two.
