If you pray....

Please say a prayer (or spiritual wordings) for the judge to make the right choice. The TPR trial comes to an end next week. The judge then has 90 days to decide. I hope she makes the right choice in truly what is best for the children. I pray they TPR. CPS had such a 'strong' case but their witnesses are falling apart at the seams. They are "forgetting" major things or things were written down wrong, etc. I hope little things like this doesn't stop the TPR. Not only would we love to keep them forever BUT it's not about our wants or needs. These kiddos have come such a long way and they have a VERY rough medical road ahead of them. birthmom does not understand the severity of their illness and I fear if they are returned their future will be quite grim. For now we enjoy every day we have with them and seize the day!

Prayers on their way

BirdeeBabee,

I do pray and I know He hears so I have already sent prayers for your little ones and your family. I pray for God's presence in the heart of those making decisions for your children. May He place these babies in the safest, best place for them to be.
We are in the middle of a TPR trial also and it is difficult to wait not knowing the outcome. I pray also for my little guy's parents as I know it must be awful to face losing a child and as hard as it is for us to wait-it must be worse for them.
Keep loving your babies with all of your heart and keep praying. I believe God wants what is best for these children and I know he listens to his children's prayers.

God Bless and Best Wishes.

I just said a prayer asking God to help the judge make the right decision for these children. I added that regardless of the outcome, that all parties involved accept that this is indeed the best thing for these children.

Like mommarn24, I pray for my AD's birth family every night and for the birth families of my foster children.

Blessings to you and your family!

I am praying for your kids and for my FD. I had no idea it was so difficult to love someone knowing they may not (or will not) be with you forever. Definitely a test of faith.

Our FD's adjudication hearing is today, and while the CW doubts FD is going home yet, I know it's a possibility and I'm trying to prepare for it.

This week's supervised visits were a bust. They couldn't get a hold of birthmom, and the BF didn't show for his! So most likely Baby V is with us a bit longer, but grandma has been on the horizon, and I think the judge could decide to send Baby V to grandma while the parents work on their plan.

We knew Baby V was a straight foster situation when we got her a month ago, but we can't help but wonder how her presence in our lives fits into our desire to start a family...

birdiebabee - "Lord grant birdiebabee the strength to persevere as she waits for news of her children's fate. If it is not your will for these children to stay with birdiebabee, then I pray that you take that desire to continue to parent them from her heart, and replace it with a peaceful satisfaction of having already made a great difference in these children's lives. May Your will be done. Amen."
