We were contacted about a sibbling group that has a jewish heritage. The process has been going extremely slow, we just found out that it is part to this MEPA eval. Has anyone else heard of this or what the typical outcome is? They are trying to decide if a Jewish family is necessary. The kids don't practice the Jewish faith or go to Temple, however, the oldest (14 year old) expressed wanting to continue some of the traditions.

We dealing with similar situation with a different federal agency. Court hears are WAY longer, I believe the first one involved just getting all the things order for this agency.

We got the boys on an emergency placement and I put up a firm argument that stability especially noting that the oldest is autistic, was vital.

We had a family planning meeting and I also made that case to the bmom and bgma who also agreed, and noted that they wished the boys to stay with us as opposed to moving just to be placed with an ethnically similar family.

At this time it appears the court agrees and we still have them.
