Sorry to hear Bubba has the hiney flu. Hope he feels better soon.

Here's a thought. How about inviting some classmates over (once Bubba gets over the flu) for a decorate your own folder party. You know Bubba and this situation better than I do. So, it may not work. However, I was thinking there is always power in numbers, Bubba would feel the support of his classmates, and maybe it sends a message to that nice so nice teacher. Just a thought!

I totally love the idea of a name party... I am assuming your school has the no cup cakes rule now too.. BUT could you throw a "Got-cha" party in his classroom? Like a birthday but way better? I see lots of awesome paper and letter cut outs and glitter glue.. you know.. a teacher who isn't in it for the right reason's total nightmare.

If that's not an option... you can order some pretty groovy "business" cards for cheap with his new improved name on them and he can hand them out with a little candy attached. The way I see it, and I have been following this, is if the kids all know his name.. and support him in this journey, then the teacher will have to follow suit or look like a jerk in front of witnesses.

I am kind of wondering if she has some personal issues that she is taking out on your lil man. I would so puffy heart her email addy.. j/k (sort of)

I would so puffy heart to give it to you--no kidding! But, that would probably be in poor taste.

And also, I think stalking/anonymously harrassing is against the law!

And I LOOOOOOVE the business card idea--who can argue with a kid handing out his business card!

If I were trying to win this thing, I think I'd accomplish it. Really, I'm not a vindictive person. But I am a mama bear who at least perceives that her cub is being threatened.

This can't be good. Any fool should be able to see that. And the teacher is a pretty smart cookie (see, no vindictiveness) but I think she has a blind spot--or maybe issues as someone has suggested.

Maybe I'll invite her to the folder party.
