Met with the attorney yesterday to make sure we "still want to do this". He told us its going to cost $2000 - $3000. To which I said, it's worth it. I'm not going to let them say we did something we didn't do without a fight. I just can't do it. He is sending subpoenas to every caseworker involved, including Landen's caseworker that pushed so hard for the adoption. They will love that...

Then for the shocker, he is going to subpoena the biomom. I've spoken to everyone involved, and based on what I have witnessed and others have witnessed of her in court, it could be interesting. However I am a little worried about having her there....I dont want to have to sit there while she makes up more lies about me....but who knows.

Anyway, just thought I'd update. We are still hanging in here.

I'm so glad you're fighting this! You deserve to get to the bottom of these lies, and make someone pay for what was done to your family.

I wouldn't be too worried about the bioMom. A good lawyer will be able to turn any lie she tells into a positive for you by showing she is lying. hopefully she will say just the right thing that he can use against her.

OK, so this is very nice You might remember that I'm friends with the judge for juvenille court (mainly because of my job, but also through fostering) anyway, hes my friend on facebook and we talk occasionally. I have intentionally not spoken with him about this situation because I dont want him to be put in a strange situation. So, anyway, he sends me a facebook message and says "hey, I wish I would have known what those people were doing to you before it got to the administrative review "

" I probly could have taken care of it then. But I have been thinking about it for a few weeks and I'm going to contact your attorney and tell him I will help in anyway I can, even if I have to go to your hearing in October".
