My little brother, M, was born on Late Thursday early Friday Morning.

Saturday, someone called CPS and accused my step-mom of taking drugs and being in an abusive relationship and they picked the baby up. They had a hearing yesterday and the baby is still in custody.

I cried for 1/2 hr streight last night. I feel awful.

We cannot take the baby, we have C in a two-bedroom apt already and I have to work. I feel sick about it.

Those of you who have babies, the familes cry behind closed doors. When they say they can't.

I'm so sorry for you.I can't imagine how hard that must be. I know how long you worked to get your sister moved to you. Even if you can't take the baby, maybe you could let CPS know that you are interested in keeping some kind of contact with the baby regardless of where he ends up. If he is not RU'd, then you could be in a position to have some contact with the future family.

sit down and think about it plan it out maybe tou can hadnle the baby.... how many people are in your current apartment? maybe put the baby in your room for now? look into childcare if the baby isn't in your state icp ill take a little while to complete maybe by then you will be ready to add another child if not know that you tried

I have reached out (through my sw) to the other sw. She called them for a possible visit option.

I would like to keep in contact. I cannot take the baby. It would be unfair to C and I am already exhausted.
