Tragic news about
His real name is Angel and he died on 8/11/09 in a horrific accident at home. Hanna found him entangled in the window blind cord during his nap on Sunday, 8/9/09. I had tucked him in about 20 minutes earlier. His bed was on the other side of the room. I had the blind cord tied up in a bow and I didn't think they could reach it. I did CPR and Maire-Kate called 911. They were able to get his heart started but he had severe brain damage. He was air lifted to Children's Hospital. They kept him on life support until they could locate his birthmother. He died early Tuesday morning.

They are now recommending that anywhere children live or visit should be free of corded window products.

OMG..as the others have already said I have no words.
Please know we are all feeling your sadness with you. I know that doesn't help but its all I can think to say. I'd like to suggest tomorrow at noon we all just have a moment of silence where ever we are for this family and child.

I'm so sorry. I cannot imagine the pain you, your children, or Angel's birth mother are feeling at this time.
