To those people who say something about making money off of fostering, i laugh and say, "You couldn't board a DOG for a day on what they give us, much less buy food, clothing, shelter, and fun for a child." And then i remind them that they don't complain when they hire a babysitter for their child and pay hundreds per week, but somehow a foster parent getting that amount or less for 24 hours worth of work and having to supply food, diapers, clothing, etc etc is seen in a negative light? i don't get it.
