Just saw the neatest thing for littles...

It's the Mommy I'm here alert system. A little teddy bear monitor goes on the child. The other is on your key ring. It sounds off an alarm if they get more than 25ft away. Or you push the button and their monitor starts beeping so you can find them. (Like when they hide in the clothes at the store )

Anyone used this before? Does it work well?

I actually bought the locator. I haven't got real good at it, but still learning. It is a little bit more expensive but it will track up to 8 kids and it actually "track" them.

There are two types of this gadget I am looking at, which would you get?

The giggle bug Pro: if unclipped from the child it goes off. Cons': Cute design and cheaper

The teddy bear: Pros: if you get a new "blue" one it has an alert mode which means that it will go off when the child wanders 20 to thirty feet away. It also works further than the giggle bug (which is about 30 feet) where as this one is 150 feet.
Cons: It doesn't have the 'if it comes unattached it will go off" feature. Does anyone have or know much about these??

The brinks website has them. Ion or something like that is what brought it up. I ordered my on line but found the cheapest sight at the time. You tube has a video of it and it is called the locator. The thing I don't like about it , is that the unit on the child is not very loud, which doesn't matter because your hand device shows you which way to go. But I wanted something that brought attention to my daughter so other adults would be aware I was looking for her. You can put them on kids, pets, keys you name it, so it really is good but it is over $100 I know. I am looking my CHILD SAFETY PRODUCTS & BABY GEAR STORE by My Precious KidŽ for the teddy bear one. If i get the bear it will definately be the blue one with the new alert mode.
