What's the "180 day check in" ?

The certifier is coming to do her every "180 day check In". What is this? Just making sure Foster parent's homes are still certifiable for foster care?

lowlanders - the 180 day check-in is a requirement in the State of Oregon. Just as every cw is required to visit your home at least once every 30 days, your certifier is required to visit your home at least once every 180 days (90 days if you have an exception to have more children than normally allowed).

It is similar to the annual (now bi-annual) recertification visit, but isn't as in-depth.
