DH has his interview with the police department tomorrow. Attorney told him that he didnt know what was going to happen but that we need to have a bail holder just in case.

I'm at a loss. We did nothing to this child. If DH goes to jail he will lose his job.

There are several threads about the insanity that has happened to KLRiggins. In a nutshell, one of their foster children, at the prompting of Mom, reported that DH had hit him in his face. The state removed the kids, sent them back to Mom, and they removed the soon to be adopted child as well. He is now back home, thank goodness.

Bio Mom had made repeated attempts to pin something on the foster family and finally one stuck even though the child is 5 yrs old. If I remember right, no marks by the way were found on him.

She has an attorney, but the state is adamant that the husband hit the child and they are trying to send him away.

This is complete and utter insanity. And they wonder why so few foster parents stay with it. If the state can not back up it's foster parents and instead decide to believe a drug addict, then what hope do we have?

OMG!! I thought there had to be proof!! And why jail?? If a bio parent hits a child, DSS will make a report but he/she won't go to jail right away..
